The ninja's battle-cry, or "wa-hgee", meaning "spirit breath", is a secret! Each clan has its own, and each student must add another intonation, breath, or other variation, adding to the sum of their clan's spirit breath.

It is said that at the beginning of time (or at the end, depending on how you look at it) the most powerful good ninja released his clan's spirit breath at the most powerful evil ninja, who in turn released his spirit breath. The combined power of these two forces destroyed the universe, only to spread the power of the spirit breath to all the corners of this, the new universe.

My clan's spirit breath can certainly not be adequately represented by mere text symbols, but it comes closest to "Ka-ree-byun-gaah". I wouldn't recommend practicing to say it correctly -- who knows what fiercesome powers you'll unleash!
