Throwing stars

Did anyone make there own throwing stars?? Best metal was the tops off the electrically plug sockets. We used to steal stop signs but that metal was too weak and the corners would bend.

    I made a couple out of sheet metal I found in my father's shop. Just a basic four point design. They flew straght and stuck without too much bending. I actually found one of them in a recent move! Brings back memories.
