Thought I'd contribute this bit of news. I just finished writing what I hope to be a useful tool for your training - built-in bidirectional Japanese-English translation straight from your Web browser's toolbar. Using Mozilla or Mozilla Firefox (both free), you can now query Jeffrey's Japanese English Dictionary for romaji and English words, and get back the appropriate translations.

This plugin is provided free of charge to the Tribe community.
